Position Summary

Sr. Loan Operations Specialist that provides day-to-day support and management of the post-loan closing processes and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Post-Loan closing tracking

• Perform loan data entry on the core processing system to include; booking the loan, tickler setup, loan coupon book orders, and other duties as assigned

• Matching loan type to application purpose, amount requested, borrowers, collateral, and any other information matches all documentation in the file.

• Payments research and resolution

• Federal Home Loan Bank portfolio servicing

• Escrow platform disbursements, updates, and oversight

• Balance reports of loan balances, past due loans, and paid loans

• Complete daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual report generator requests from the Loan and Accounting departments

• Assist and collaborate with the Loan Admin Department

• Credit Bureau research and issue resolution

• Assist with Loan audit and exam preparation

• Occasional involvement in new Loan projects related to PCS

• Annual Loan audit confirmations for external audits backup

• New Loan-related procedures due to PCS releases and updates

• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to multitask and collaborate with members of all levels of the organization

• Ability to be self-reliant, work independently, be proactive, and collaborative

• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

• Consistently strong written and oral communication skills

• Skilled with computers; including: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Other: Working Conditions In office work with exposure to some noise. Bending, stooping, and minimal lifting required up to 10lbs. Sitting, standing, and walking required.

Background

Education Required: H.S. or equivalent.

Education Preferred: Associate degree or bachelor’s degree.

Experience

Required 2+ years related banking experience with a focus on Loans

Preferred: 5+ years related banking experience with a focus on Loans
