Microsoft is Sunsetting Edge Legacy and Internet Explorer 11 Browsers – What does this mean for BankORION customers?
Microsoft will be ending support for its Microsoft Edge Legacy browser on March 9th, 2021. Microsoft will also end support of its Internet Explorer 11 on August 17th, 2021. Internet browsers are the application you use to access the internet. The most common browsers include, yet are not limited to, the following:
These changes will impact how BankORION customers can access their Digital Banking portal. Customers who are currently using the Microsoft Edge Legacy browser or the Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 browser (see two blue icons within this blog) need to use a different browser to access their Digital Banking portal.

Does this change affect me?
You could be using the Edge Legacy browser if you are using a computer equipped with Microsoft 10, because it is part of the computer’s default settings. If you are not sure which version you are using or if you do not know if someone installed a different browser, please check if you are using one of the left two icons below to access the internet. If the answer is yes, we recommend downloading the new Microsoft Edge browser, which is available on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. Once the installation is complete, the new browser icon should look like the one on the right, and you will be able to access the Digital Banking portal without any problems.
Alternatively, you can download and use any of the other browsers mentioned above. In any case, please contact the BankORION team with any questions. We are more than happy to help you through this transition.
