BankORION Announces Annual Shareholders Meeting
2021 was a year of record earnings.
Orion, IL, April 8, 2022: The 131st annual meeting of the shareholders of Orion Bancorporation, Inc. was held, on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Bally’s Quad Cities Casino & Hotel, Rock Island, IL.
President and CEO Matthew P. Bollinger informed stockholders the company ended 2021 with another year of record net income. This record net income was the sixth year in a row the company was able to achieve a new record for net income. Total assets ended the year at $612 million, an increase of 13% over the prior year end and total stockholders’ equity ended the year at $63 million. In addition, total loans and total deposits ended the year, respectively, at $285 million and $518 million.
Bollinger reviewed progress made on a number of topics including the bank’s record earnings, strategic initiatives, the wealth management division, InvestORION, and the addition of several new technologies.
The shareholders re-elected Matthew P. Bollinger, Douglas R. Nelson and Brad Keleher to the board of directors for three-year terms. Other directors include, James R. Dingman, Timothy J. Fritz, Alan F. Wright, DeAnne C. Bloomberg, Gerald D. Johnson and Kevin P. Koellner.
The board of directors of BankORION and its parent company, Orion Bancorporation, Inc. also announced the promotions of Valerie A. Johnson, to Assistant Vice President, Project Development Officer, Jeremy T. Lewison, to Assistant Vice President, Operations Officer, Aleshia V. Chiesa to Assistant Vice President, Marketing Director and Lindsey J. Uttech to Human Resources Director.
