INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

BankORION collects information about you that you might consider to be private such as account numbers(s), social security number(s),and income and net worth data (nonpublic personal information).

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE ABOUT YOU

We do NOT disclose any information you might consider to be private about you to anyone, except as permitted by law such as, reports to credit reporting agencies, Internal Revenue Service reporting, responses to subpoenas, search warrants, and summons, and disclosures necessary to service your account and prevent unauthorized transactions.

If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

BankORION restricts access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. BankORION maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

 

BankORION is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
