The Bill-Payment feature is an optional service for all checking accounts. You must specifically request to have this service added. The Bill-Payment service has a monthly flat fee of $5.00 per "Bill Pay" account, for an unlimited number of payments on each account that has been enabled for the service. The monthly fee will be charged in addition to any other fees associated with the account and the charge will show on your monthly statement. Commercial customers using "Commercial Services" such as ACH Origination will also have fees associated with this feature. Bill pay fees for "Commercial Customers" is $10.00 per month.
An authorization form must be signed in order to receive bill pay services on a checking account. You may receive your form by contacting our Customer Service Department at 877-526-8011.
If a check is returned NSF through our bill pay system the fee for a returned check is $25.00.
Payment Center
Keeping track of payments is easy with the Payment Center. From the Payment Center you can:
- Pay bills from different accounts, keep track of available balances, conveniently schedule and make payments, and view new e- bills in the Pay Bills module.
- See what bills need to be paid and set up helpful reminders in the "Bill Reminders module."
- View what payments are currently scheduled and easily cancel payments in the Pending Payments module.

Add a Bill
A biller is any person or company to which you make payments, such as utility providers, credit card companies or even your baby-sitter. Some billers can send you e-bills – electronic billing statements that save you even more time.
Tip: Have a bill or statement from each biller handy. You will need to know your account number with the payee in addition to the payee address and phone number.
STEP 1: On the “Add A Company or Person” page, choose the format you’d like to use for entering your bill information – either “Quick Add” or one of the other “Custom Add” options. Then click “Continue.”
STEP 2: For “Quick Add,” enter the company or person you want to add, enter the phone number and click “Find.” If the person found is correct, click “Add.” For “Custom Add,” enter the requested information about the company or person and click “Continue” to add.
REQUESTING E-BILLS
Some large companies can send electronic "e-bills" directly to your bill pay service. You get the same information as on your paper bill, and you can even store e-bills up to six months for easy online reference.
There are two ways to activate an e-bill - you can choose to receive e-bills during the initial "Add A Bill" phase or you can also set up an e-bill later.
STEP 1 - Click on the "Make A Payment" and from the payee list select the vendor of your choice with e-bill capabilities.
STEP 2 - Once you've chosen the biller, click "sign-up" under the e-bill column.
STEP 3 - If you would also like to receive e-bills in your e-mail, also click the "Add e-mail notification of electronic bill" option.
STEP 4 - If you would like the bill pay service to automatically pay the e-bill when it is received, click on "Add an automatic payment" and enter the desired method of payment. You can even set a maximum dollar amount limit.
STEP 5 - Click "Continue."
RECEIVING E-BILLS
When you log on to the Payment Center, you will be notified of your new e-bill to the left of the biller’s name in the “Pay Bills” module. Click the e-bills icon to the left to see your statement – just like a paper bill, but easier. Or if you have opted to receive e- bills through e-mail, you will receive an e-mail notification that the e-bill is ready for viewing.
SCHEDULING PAYMENTS
Use this feature to pay multiple bills at one time. Your account information is already there – just fill in the amounts and payment dates to pay all your bills in minutes.
STEP 1: Click the Payment Center link.
STEP 2: Enter the amount due for each bill as shown on your billing statement or e-bill.
STEP 3: Enter the dates on which your payments are due.
- If your payment is due on a weekend or holiday, schedule it for the nearest prior business day.
- It may take up to 4 business days to process your payment, so make sure to schedule payments at least 4 days in advance. For instance, if your payment is due on Friday, schedule it by the previous Monday.
SCHEDULING AUTOMATIC/RECURRING PAYMENTS
Use this feature to pay regularly occurring bills for a set amount – your rent, tuition, or loan payments. Select a biller and fill in the amount, first payment date, payment end date and frequency or indicate to pay until further notice. You can also specify a different amount for the final payment (see Scheduling Payments above for important notes on scheduling payment dates).
STEP 1: Click the “Manage My Bills” link. Click on the drop-down list of biller names and choose the biller you want to automatically pay.
STEP 2: Click “Add an automatic payment.”
STEP 3: Enter the first payment date.
STEP 4: Enter either the number of payments, the last payment date, or select “Pay until further notice.”
